Love and Destiny

To be loved and to fall in love are indeed what everyone is looking for, and at least, once in a life time, he or she hopes to find true love. But the truth is – not everyone is getting good luck with it. Some people spend almost all of their life searching for true love, and it seems it never comes; for some, love is just standing right there in front of them, putting a love curse all over their heart and soul. Once love deeply spellbinds them (or even blinds them), there is probably no way out – they are stuck with it, they go crazy and wild, they go pining for it, and so on. It makes people happy and unhappy at the same time, and in whatever way it affects life, people are definitely desperate to have one.

Love becomes a major issue of today, and this can never live without destiny. Isn’t it destiny that brings you love? Or is it you yourself who wanders around seeking for it? Either way, you know you are going to find it somewhere. But when? Maybe tomorrow or next year, nobody can really tell you what the future holds, even a fortune teller. Then are you going to sit still waiting for it, letting destiny help? Or will you make a good use of your destiny to search for one? You have two options here, readers. Maybe take your pick for a minute, and read on for my suggestions and rethink.

Honestly speaking, I wouldn’t recommend the first choice. I think you are just wasting your time. I believe many people wouldn’t do that, sitting and waiting. To kill time, hunting by any means is more enjoyable and more often than not leads to a good result, I’m sure. Nowadays, the number one tool for love search is the internet. People live behind the cyber world and keep searching for the girl or guy of their dream. Yahoo Messenger, MSN, Speeddate, Skype, Myspace – you name it. Some may be fortunate to finally meet ‘the one’ while the others get hooked up and deceived by a freak or a pervert. Beware, you can rely on this chat thing for half the time. You just keep looking, and maybe your path crosses with the right person and you start dating. If something clicks, you know it very well, love is ringing. Not yet? Don’t ever give up! Remember this, “where there’s a will, there’s a way” – online chatting randomly is not the only way. Looking for a serious long-term relationship and marriage, signing up for a love-link site can be an easy answer. It may cost a bit more, but it can help somehow.

Out of the cyber world, mingling with people in the real society is also a cool way. Especially if you are a party animal, love is very near you. You go out there dancing and drinking, you look so sexy and attractive that someone hits on you and asks to buy you a drink. A spark, yeah! Maybe even love at first sight can happen too. You chat and flirt all night, have fun, exchange numbers and keep in contact, and at last you may discover your Mr / Ms Right or even Mr / Ms Maybe. Whatever it is, you are creating your own destiny.

And what about travelling for love? Have any of you ever thought about that? Oh yes! I believe many of you have, only if you have time and money, don’t you? I have read a kind of true fiction called “Around the World in 80 Dates”. The story is about a CNN lady who leaves her job to travel, not really for experience but mainly for love. She gets in touch with her friends from different countries, asking them to hook her up with several guys they may know, so she can start dating with them. She expects to find her real soulmate at the end, so she really runs after her own destiny, and maybe we can try the same. Opportunity is always open, but it’s up to you whether or not you will grab it.

What’s next, advertise yourself in papers – you’ve nothing to lose. I have seen those personal ads in several types of magazine. A man seeking an Asian girlfriend. A girl looking for a farang boyfriend. If you are one of those serious seekers, this way possibly works out for you too; some readers are probably walking in the same direction. Or why not, attend a live speeddating event, exchange ideas and talk with new faces, and maybe a crush will turn into love after all. Or go to a matching company, give them your profile, pay extra for it, and you get served with bachelors or bachelettes.

So, several choices are at your door. Why will you still be hiding at home and waiting for a prince or princess to rescue you? You can actually, I don’t deny your choice, but maybe there’s a one or two percent of possiblity that something will happen. Sometimes love drops in by chance, and passion can become true love. Then all you need to do is allow destiny to take a hold and enjoy the future!
